i wouldnt want anything as big as a demo anyway, i rode a cannondale prophet down the alps a few years ago and it was some of the best fun i ever had XD, they are lovely bikes too really light!

yeah, stock version is a bit on the heavy side tho, nothing to complain about but i have picked up a demo 9 that was lighter, but im sure it left the guys wallet much lighter too

lol yeah same with mine, really wants a good clean and service now, i took it to mega avalance and everything last year, i came 81st of 200 in qualiying!

yeah im sure they are fine, as it is i have to go about replacing all the seals and oil in the SL's right now, how have you found the avids? i thort mine were good but in the alps they were a bit soft, and definatly lost power the more you wear the pads down.

i wasnt sure, white IS really nice on it but they were only 160mm coil and air sprung, with only rebound ajst, where as the SL's i put on it have 170mm rebound, compression, fully air sprung, bottom out and travel ajst.. and they are lighter XD

no.. photgraphicaly that picture is no where near as good. Andrew Dunwoody has done a fantasic panning shot here

no, you just cant see the other leg from this side. i dont like lefty forks either, only trying to be differnt without any significant gain.

the bush adds a whole load of composition to the photo, its beautiful, imo couldnt ask for better composition in a photo, and the use of the flash is done so well

over exposed > but other than that very nice 4 stars ^_^

i think the rider has been too underexposed, coz its shot facing the sun, i think it would have looked nice from a differnt angle where you can see more shadows and vibrant colours, mainly not shooting into the light source

i dont think he gets the concept of depth of field either. its a technique in photography for selective focus, and the rider is in perfect focus. so eat your eyes out if you like, and if you want old fashioned you use a sepia tone..

black and white has midtones and differnt contrasts, so black and white has more too it
